I've retired to Lavausseau in the Vienne with my wife, Amanda. We are adapting to the French way of life with enthusiasm, but occasionally get caught out by the local quirks and customs.

Hedgecutter in progress
The French are fastidious with their road maintenance. Here is a picture of the Hedgecutter driving past our house. The roads and verges are always immaculate.
